Rudy Velasquez

Rudy Velasquez is the Democratic candidate in the November 7, 2006, General Election for Judge of County Court at Law # 1 in Fort Bend County.  It is the oldest county court in the county and has jurisdiction over misdemeanor criminal cases, civil cases, juvenile and probate matters.  County Court at Law # 1 was vacated by the Honorable Larry Wagenbach and is being presided by an interim judge. 

Rudy Velasquez brings years of experience in the State and Federal Courts to his campaign to serve the people of Fort Bend County. His goal is to provide fair, just and equal enforcement of the laws of the State of Texas.  He is also committed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of County Court at Law #1.
